The Toastmasters Podcast with Greg Gazin
The Toastmasters Podcast is like a radio talk show featuring interviews with Toastmasters usually featured in the Toastmaster magazine. The purpose of the podcast is to amplify the magazine - to dig deeper or to put a voice to a face or written wordBut unlike a radio show, a podcast is on the Internet, and available, for free, to anyone in the world with an Internet connection, and a connected device capable of playing audio. 250+ episodes are at ToastmastersPodcast.comThe Toastmasters Podcast is co-produced by Toastmasters International and Archieboy Holdings, LLC, for our global audience of Toastmasters and those interested in public speaking and leadership.
[19:00] Greg speaks with Peter Kossowan, known as “Mr. Toast”—a master club-builder who has chartered 164 clubs and counting. Peter is a Distinguished Toastmaster and Past District 42 Governor from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is also the recipient of two Presidential Citations from Toastmasters International.
Peter has volunteered for over 80 nonprofit organizations, but his greatest passion is Toastmasters; he's been a member for 45 years. Now in his mid-80s and a survivor of both cancer and a heart bypass, he attends 300 club meetings a year and continues to serve and inspire others with his dedicated leadership.
